[Klug-general] Ubuntu 11.04 with Unity and thenVirtualBox printing

Your first line is correct. It worked yesterday under PCLOS which is 
very annoying. Beginning to think that ubuntu might have been a mistake 
but it should all work if only I can figure out why the connection is 
being refused.

As for Saturday er thanks for the invitation but this computer setup is 
big enough to be climbing out of the small bedroom so I can't just lug 
it along to the LUG.

I'll keep trying all kind suggestions until I lose patience and then I 
suppose I'll have to go back to PCLOS which just works but I just wanted 
to get mainstream so that I can follow everything in Linux Format 
Magazine instead of just some of it. Also I have a 64-bit PC and PCLOS 
only supplies a 32-bit setup. Not a big deal, but it does make a bit of 
a difference on speed and responsiveness.

It seems that Ubuntu isn't as forgiving as they would have you believe , 
no matter what folk at Linux Towers encourage us to believe.
