Agreed....

If Luc wants to found a Student Society then go ahead, I'm some of us may
support him in any way we can.

We've been asked this "afflication" question in the past, And as it stands
we are not an official organisation that you can affiliate with.

We are infact a "a group of like minded linux, open source and computer
enthusiasts" in Kent. but even thats not 100% true at times.

We are more than happy for our mailing list, IRC channel etc to be used by
ANYONE who wishes to communicate with other computer enthusiasts within
Kent. weather they be using Windows, Linux, Mac, ZX Spectrams, C64, WII,
etc etc etc.. We are primarily "hard core" computer users rather than you
stand run of the mill MS Word or Facebook computer user,

We encourage the Freedom of software, (ie software reuse etc) but more
importantly want to ensure that the "Right tool is used for the right job"
and if the right tool is not Free or Open then that's not really a problem,
so long as it does the job required well.

We are about "Diversity" and "Reuse" rather than a one show stop.

Think of use as KCUG (Kent Computer User Group) rather than KLUG and you
would be closer to the truth.

Peter.
