As I said a while ago: I'll be there on the 28th.
I understand that the start time is 9am so that's what I'm aiming for.
Subject matter: I can hold forth on many subjects but it's basically froth.

See you there.

When shall we meet up for the first series of talks at our new saturday morning venue in Maidstone?

OK so we have a date of 28th Sept right? Just so it can be slung on the web site.

Has anyone got some ideas for a presentation for tech talks?

  Anyone coming forward for topics?

I can't make this one as previously mentioned, I still have to sort something out for a demo of home automation (since added night vision cams), and have been playing with a few bits of software such as bacula. Can do something on that at some point.

Sorry, not been able to focus on this, I have seriously underestimated the amount of work getting a book to print is and its taken most of the year to do so, and I've not finished, have two more to get out over the next three years so this will be more of the same.

        Dear President,

After much groundwork I have finally achieved a positive outcome for KLUG.

Permission to announce this new venue on the mailing list, please, with a call for presentations and talks. Also there are very detailed directions to the venue, accessible by public transport.

          Dear James

Your details were passed to me by Debbie Saunders, although I believe that we have corresponded in the past about the Kent Linux User Group meeting at the Kent History and Library centre
I understand that you would like to use the library meeting room on a Saturday morning from 9.00-1.00pm every 3 months.
As you are a non profit community organisation we would not make a charge for hire of the space.
The room accommodates up to 12 people and is arranged in a boardroom layout of tables and chairs. There are sockets set into the tables and we have Wi Fi in the building. Please see below from our website:
