Paul:
Installed lm-sensors and smartmontools.
I don't think it's anything to do with heat, but could be wrong.



One thing I do remember is having 'ddclient' running, updating two 
different domains from two different providers,
it had started to crash regularly after I done that...
I've changed that to ddclient for namecheap and inadyn for freedns, no 
crash/hang yet.

But still, lets continue with Your idea Paul :)
