Andy,

They aren't free, but then they aren't too expensive. Have a look at 
1and1.co.uk. There's a lot of stuff for building websites, running 
businesses, etc.

I use them and find them to be very reliable. The servers are always very 
responsive. A very professional organisation!

And there is the option to run on either MS servers or Linux servers.  :-)
