wow sounds like a full time bad experience - saying that i havent really
seen solid action from kde4 yet
the last time I used a stable version was 3.5.9 and that was just 100%
couldnt fault it! then they released kontact to match the kde4 so i thought
id try it - it was a bad experience im afraid. Ive looked at it and it
looks pretty darn polished
im going to build it from source on a gentoo box and test it... although it
might be worth trying a kubuntu install!! or better still try em both!! i
install like 3 or four different distros to test nowadays in virtual
boxes!!!
I did use to run Kaffeine in kde i did get it recording TV but it was
always a bit hit and miss id probably taking a look at MythTV maybe..
www.mythtv.org
Well i hope you get sorted with your back ken and hopefully see you at the
lancaster lug xmas bash!!!!!
all the best
wayne :)
