[Lincoln LUG] hello/help needed

hi all
short term lurker and newbie linux convert
currently running ubuntu 12.04 and slacko puppy 5.3.3
absolutely love puppy which I've used as a 'get out of jail' tool for a long time and one program (Pburn) stands out for performance and reliability, in short pretty much the best burning tool I've come across
I would like to install pburn to ubuntu, I contacted the author who described it as a bash script so as long as the dependencies are installed and the files placed correctly (?) will work in ubuntu
I have included the puppy .pet file (tar -zxf ./pburn-3.5.3.pet) and the 'specs' file reports the following:
