*November Meeting** Tuesday 4**th** November 2014*

Being the end of October, this means that the next LUG meeting will soon be
upon us.  We are meeting this Tuesday – 4th November 2014 at 8.00pm.  Our
usual table at Xanders has been booked.

*Festive Feast  Thursday** 4**th** December** 2014*

When I was in Xanders the other day, they drew my attention to their Xmas
menus.  Our annual festive feast is always a popular event, and this year
will fall on Thursday 4th December.  So that I can organise a booking,
could you please let me know ASAP – ideally by the 4th November meeting
day, whether you are wishing to attend.  I’m normally asked for a £5 per
person deposit by Xanders, which obviously is taken off your final bill on
the night itself.

The Festive Feast is the one meeting of the year that we leave the tech at
home, and behalf like ‘Normals’.  For this reason partners, +1’s, ball &
chains…whatever you want to call your nearest and dearest are encouraged to
come along to the event.

Full details of the menus will be at the November meeting, and posted
online soon…although having had a quick look – seems very similar to menus
from previous years, along with Xanders’ normal menu for those who don’t do
roast dinners.
