[Lincoln LUG] Lincoln LUG January meeting (18/01/2017 @ 7pm)

Hello and Happy New Year!

Our next LUG meeting is scheduled for the 18th of January. It’s our
first meeting of 2017 and to mark the occasion, Tom has proposed the
classic debate topic, “Is 2017 the year of the Linux desktop?”

Also, this year I've promised to bring along a fresh install of a new
Linux distribution to every LUG meeting. My laptop will be physically
labelled with the system’s administrator username and password, so if
anyone is interested, they can have a play around and explore. The
first distribution will be elementary OS.

As usual, we’ll be meeting at Lincoln Bowl with a start time of 7pm.
We hope to see you there for lots of Linux related chit chat.
