[Lincs] The online future?

Guys,

It does indeed seem that the LUG has been very quiet lately!

Grahame made a good point in his last e-mail with regards to the online 
state of the LUG.

With regards to the website, is it getting updated? If not, for probably 
a number of very good reasons, I would like to volunteer to keep on top 
of it (ooeer!)

It's format?  would we like to keep the current site, or go for 
something along the lines of Linux Format's site and my site?

Although the two sites mentioned above are made from prebuilt php 
scripts, they do offer a level of security not currently available on 
our website.

If required I should also be able to host the site at no cost (will have 
to check tho!)

As for the IRC meetings, they are, IMHO, an invaluable vehicle for the 
LUGs communication in real time and really should continue :)

anyway......discuss?
