Hi,
We are a small company based in Derby. We have developed an image
handling system for IP based cameras working on FC4, growing rapidly we
need someone to join us as soon as possible.
You can find out more at www.initsys.co.uk
We are looking for a Linux administrator to manage our servers which are
placed in various locations across Europe and soon USA. Being Linux you
could work from home so location is not important (office is Derby).
Some travel is possible, or not, its up to you as we have the hardware
in managed locations - but you might like to come help at exhibitions etc.
Good knowledge of Linux including security and general management of
Linux, ability to set up new servers and control backup. You will also
be required to manage a change management system and look after a code
depository from our programmers who are based in the USA and Pakistan.
We are working on a back office system that will enable our helpdesk to
manage failures and do remote swap of faulty equipment, but, in the
shortterm you need to be very responsive to problems and issues.
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience, but is expected to be
around £25-35k dependent on experience. We have an employee share scheme
and bonus.
Ideally you will be able to interpret C code, script in Perl and
identify security problems.
If you are interested in the position please send an email to
cberry at initsys.co.uk with a brief CV.
Thanks
Chris
