Description
The successful candidate must have 2 yrs commercial experience and will be
responsible for the systems administration of our live servers, ongoing
monitoring as well as all operational procedures (including security). Other
duties will include the answering of client technical support queries via
email/telephone, so good communication skills are essential. The ideal
candidate will possess strong Linux administration skills together with
excellent Web Infrastructure experience - Apache, Bind, FTP, Exim/Sendmail,
PHP, MySql, Perl. Knowledge of Cobalt Raqs, web hosting control panels
(Cpanel) and PHP programming skills would be advantageous. Working hours
would be 9 5 Mon to Fri, and up to 1.5 hours at a weekend, you will need the
ability to work remotely from home. Additional out of hours work may be
necessary in emergencies.
