Subject: VACANCY: Junior Linux/Network Admin
User-Agent: Thunderbird 1.5.0.9 (Macintosh/20061207)

Hi All,
We are looking for Junior Linux/Network Admins
see below for more information

Sohonet provide a dedicated private network to the film, television and
new media industries, and are looking for graduate engineers to help
develop this rapidly expanding international business.

Working as part of a small and highly dedicated team, the position will
require more than just an excellent understanding of the latest advances
in wide area networking. An interest in security issues, including
encryption and firewalls would be helpful, as would experience with Unix
/ *BSD / Linux.

Ability to diagnose faults, and deal with highly emotive customers on
impossible deadlines while retaining a sense of perspective (and humour)
is a vital part of the job.
This position is ideal for an enthusiastic and outgoing candidate, who
is looking for something a little different. It is expected that
applicants will be able to demonstrate a proven interest in this field
outside that covered in a degree course. A further interest in the
media industry would also be advantageous.

The position is based in Central London, close to Oxford Circus, and it
is expected that successful applicants will be prepared to live in easy
traveling distance to this location.

regards
Ben Roeder
