Adaptable Systems Administrator / Architect needed for leading Web
2.0 / Social Software company

We are looking for an adaptable, professional, and enthusiastic
systems administrator to help keep our internal and external systems
happy and healthy.

You'll be someone who is comfortable ranging across a mix of
technologies from Linux to Windows 2003 Server, with an occasional
detour into the land of OS X. Shell scripting, server monitoring,
Apache and Tomcat configuration should be bread and butter for you,
and bonus points will be awarded for experience with the likes of
MySQL, PHP, Rails, Subversion, Linux Virtual Server, Confluence,
MovableType and Wordpress. Experience architecting and administering
virtualised hosting environments is also highly desirable. In
addition, we expect you to have good communication skills, have a
logical approach to problem solving, and be meticulous about
documentation.

The role will involve these main areas of work:

- Architecting and implementing a completely new virtualised hosting
environment
- Providing hosting advice to internal project teams and setting up
and managing hosting for client projects
- Management and administration of development and testing servers as
well as other internal systems
In return we'll offer a competitive salary, a non-formal (no suits
required) work environment in a great location just off Shad Thames
where you'll have easy access to great coffee, good restaurants,
Nabaztag bunnies, and where you'll be working alongside a bunch of
knowledgeable and passionate people joined together by a desire to
help change the way people collaborate and communicate.
