Subject: [uknot-jobs] Coder needed for new UKFSN ordering system and
control panel.
To: uknot-jobs at uknot.org

I need the UKFSN ordering system and customer control panel redeveloped.

The system is currently a set of perl scripts and a mysql database which
were written over several years and reflect the fact that I am neither a
programmer or database expert however they do work fairly well. It now
needs a rewriting as UKFSN is about to start offering a new range of
broadband services and I need to integrate domain and SSL ordering
properly.

To do this you will need to be able to design an appropriate database
specification (for mysql) and write the necessary code to implement the
ordering system and control panel, perhaps reusing some of the existing
code where appropriate. You will need to be comfortable writing perl
modules in fairly readable and well documented code calling out to
external supplier APIs (XML and WDSL).

If you are interested in this and want more information please email me
for a basic specification indicating when you are likely to be available
to do the work and we can then discuss timescales, money, etc.

UKFSN is a very small ISP with a small turnover. There is money to pay
for this work.
