credativ has a long history of contributing to free software projects
such as OpenOffice.org, PostgreSQL and Debian GNU Linux and supports a
range of clients in many different environments. 

This opportunity would suit a recent graduate looking to gain
commercial experience in a leading international open source company.
We are looking for a motivated open source developer to expand our
technical team. Based in our Open Source Support Centre, you will be
working on open source projects as well as providing customer support,
bug fixing and troubleshooting. 

This is an outstanding career opportunity for candidates able to
demonstrate a genuine interest in the free software community. The
successful candidate will have experience in working with a range of
free software projects. Experience with Postgres, ERP or monitoring
systems would be beneficial. Some knowledge of Python, C++, Java, Ruby,
Perl or C, a technical or scientific degree, as well as participation
in or working towards contributing to open source projects would also
be desirable. The role will require excellent communication and
interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with customers and
providing information for internal reporting purposes.
