Campbell-Lange Workshop is an IT services company based in Central
London. We are looking for an experienced IT professional to lead the
administration of the IT networks and servers of our clients consisting
of several London-based design companies together with our own
datacentre-based services. This role is in addition to the position of
IT engineer (c. 35K) advertised last week.

We operate around 50-60 servers largely running Debian with some Xen
virtualisation and several Microsoft AD/Exchange servers. We pride
ourselves on achieving excellent uptime across all of our services which
include file, mail, calendar and contact, backup, telephony and web
services, most of which are based on open source solutions. 

We seek an energetic and able person to lead our small team and to focus
on the stability of our infrastructure while developing new services.
Applicants should have experience of running numbers of servers, working
in a cross-platform environment, storing tens of TB of data and have
expertise in automating repetitive tasks. Additional experience and/or
qualifications in areas outside of computing are very welcome. An
excellent command of written and spoken English is required for this
role.

The salary for this position is approximately 38K/annum with good
after-hour rates for additional project work, 5 weeks of holiday a year
and other perks including a commitment to ongoing training.
