Linux Sys Admin vacancy with a world leading Media company in Yorkshire.

Location: Commutable from York, Doncaster, Hull & Leeds.

Salary c.£30k + on-call allowance + benefits.

A great opportunity for a Linux Sys Admin (Redhat / CentOS) to join a fast paced team at the forefront of the Media industry. Information Tech is at the heart of this business, dictating how well the business performs. You will be part of the team that monitors and develops the infrastructure, impacting how information reaches millions of people.

Essential Requirements:


·         Good experience with Redat / CentOS

·         Excellent customer focus and written & verbal communication skills.

·         SQL skills.

·         Experience with VMWare.

·         Experience in a fast-paced, customer focused environment, e.g. an ISP.

Desirable Requirements:


·         Experience of automation tools like Mavern, Chef & Msbuild.

·         Scripting: Perl, Python, Ruby, Java, Ant etc.
