Ensuring that all applications are fully documented such that other members of the development team are able to resolve problems or modify the application, if need arises.
On occasion you will be expected to provide telephone, on-line and in-person support for customers - which means you Must have the ability (and patience) to speak to non-Technical clients about Technical issues.

You Must have proven experience working with Python within a commercial setting and ideally have worked with common Python toolkits (SQLAlchemy, WX, Turbogears and Django). You must have a passion for quality and be comfortable working in BOTH Windows AND Linux environments. An opportunity to learn new technologies such as Redis, MongoDB, HTML5.

Ideally looking for candidates who have worked on Social Networking sites (e.g. links with Facebook and Twitter) or Payment features - however this is not essential.

LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR / SYSTEMS ENGINEER - LONDON CITY - £35K + BENEFITS

Established and successful, fast paced, Technology Company is looking for an experienced Linux Sys Admin to join their friendly and analytical / problem solving team.

You will be supporting Big Data Systems that support complex and data driven piece of software. You will be joining a rapidly progressing and expanding company that are looking to make the next technological step for the business.

As a Linux Systems Administrator you must have the following skills:
* Be comfortable in at least one scripting language apart from Bash ( Perl / Ruby / scheme / Haskell / Erlang etc)
* Be comfortable a setting up, monitoring and scaling a variety of systems - examples are MongoDB clusters, Redis clusters, Neo4j, MySQL - however this is not exhaustive

As a Linux Systems Administrator your main responsibilities will be:
* Monitoring, commissioning and upgrading our servers.
* Ensuring the server capacity is monitored and expanded.
* You must have experience of setting up and managing AWS (Amazon's Elastic Computing)

6 MONTH PYTHON CONTRACT - BRISTOL - £250-300PD

Long term contract for a well known and interesting company.
Experienced Python Developer required for a rapidly growing software services engineering team.

Are you looking for a highly analytical and numeric environment? Do you enjoy complex programming problems? Do you have (commercial / academic) experience of engineering, design, geometry, mathematics or physics software? Do you enjoy being pro-active and having input to projects?

You will be working on the full software life cycle and will be involved in large-scale object oriented design. The environment uses Python, open source and cross platforms. You will be provided with coaching on use of design-patterns, and Agile lifecycles.
