Responsibilities:

 - Assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of company
information security systems to meet the evolving needs of the company
 - Document systems and train staff where appropriate
 - Provide security input for non-security projects
 - Maintain security certification and keep up-to-date with security
developments
 - Occasional incident response and support for major operational issues
outside of office hours
 - On-call element

Prerequisite Skills:

 - Linux/Unix experience
 - Security certifications e.g. GSEC, CISSP
 - Security background - understanding of security principals and the
ability to apply them to any situation
 - Technical/hands on experience, but with the ability to see the big
picture
 - Networking knowledge
 - Good interpersonal skills
 - Clearly communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences
