*ROLE & LOCATION*



DevOps Engineer, London



*ROLE SUMMARY*



Wandera are looking to hire a permanent Ops Engineer to join our growing
team of technologists to help run our cloud services platform. You will
have 3-5 years knowledge of all things Ops including system admin,
scripting, configuration management, rapid deployment, SQL/NoSQL, TCP/IP,
Networks, Agile & monitoring in either private clouds or on EC2/Rackspace
type environments.




*RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS*



·       Bash and Ruby + frameworks are essential. HTML5/CSS/Jscript
advantageous.

·       Automation skills and operational programming to a high level.

·       Linux/LAMP stack skills including
Ubuntu/Apache/Postgres/Squid/Puppet.

·       Monitoring and metrics exposure for alerting and trending like
Nagios and ZenOSS.

·       Public cloud exposure – you will have used platforms like AWS and
Rackspace and will have a great understanding of how to run, operate and
deploy to obtain high availability and high performance.

·       Some SQL/noSQL skills will be advantageous but not essential.

·       Good communications skills, elegant and legible scripting,
documenting to a high level.
