Hi all,

I'm currently building out a systems engineering team for Genomics 
Limited in Oxford and I'm looking to fill the following vacancy:


Senior Systems Engineer
A senior systems engineer is required to join a small team within a 
rapidly growing start-up. The successful candidate will be working 
closely with development and research teams to deliver and manage 'big 
data' analytic systems which will reach petabyte scale. The willl also 
provide day-to-day support for internal IT requirements covering Linux, 
Mac OSX and Windows.

The ideal candidate will have:
     5+ years experience of administering Linux-based systems in a 
production environment (ideally Debian/Ubuntu).
     Ability to develop bespoke code to support operations, ideally in 
Python.
     Confidence working with configuration management tools (e.g. 
Puppet, Ansible etc.).
     Enthusiasm for working in an Agile, 'DevOps' environment.
     Experience of virtualization platforms and/or cloud environments.
     knowledge of large scale distributed storage.

And be able to demonstrate expertise in 1 or more of the following:
     Systems management for large scale systems (e.g. HPC clusters, 
Openstack deployments)
     Data protection and handling the security of sensitive information.
     Management of heterogeneous Internal Systems (Linux, Mac, Windows)
