[Liverpool] Gentoo live CD

Hi All

I recently tried to install Gentoo 2008 from the Linux Format DVD.
All seemed to go well, but on the reboot it would seem to boot from the
tempory file system that the live DVD put on my hard drive?
Which means that I could boot into neither of the systems on the machine.
Has anybody any ideas? I have tried to boot using the Suse 11 DVD, and even
repair the MBR, but to no avail.
If not I will just have to reinstall?
