Subject: [lscvolunteers] Skillshare Day


Hi

As mentioned in the minutes for the social centre meeting and the cafe 
meeting, we are planning on having a Skillshare Day on Sunday 21 February 
from 11am to 3pm.  We are going to teach people vegan cooking skills and 
hopefully encourage new people to feel confident getting involved in the 
cafe.

We also thought it would be a good idea to ask if anyone else had a skill 
they wanted to teach people.  We would be using the cafe and the little 
room, but if people wanted to do something in the big room that would be 
great.  Please reply to this message if you've got an idea for something 
you'd like to do.

Also, after the skillshare is finished people are going to do a big clear up 
of the centre from 3pm to 5pm.  This was because at the social centre 
meeting it was raised that there are things that are a fire hazard eg there 
of loads of boxes of leaflets near to the fuse box.  It would be nice if 
lots of people came down to help as the more of us there are the quicker it 
will be.
