[Liverpool] Sipdroid on HTC Desire

Not really Linux related, but Android is a sort of Linux after all :-)

Does anybody know if I need to root an HTC Desire to install Sipdroid?

The Sipdroid website doesn't seem to mention anything about rooting.

P.S. No, I haven't given up my Nokia feature(full) phone. I'm still 
waiting for Nokia to release an updated firmware for it which will put 
it years ahead of any Android phone out there :D
