I am am Stopsley as well and come along to a meet if it was in Luton. Maybe
a coffee shop or wine bar would be less noisy than a pub?

Aye. Harpenden would be a good central location bearing in mind our Lusty
area of Luton & St. Albans. Or any of the villages in between (but not so
easy to get to without a car). Or Luton if nobody pipes up from St. Albans.
Preferably not in a loud/smoky pub - the Herts group were very glad to
escape our previous meeting place (having to shout over drunken fools to be
heard) into a community centre with Broadband.

I can't make Wednesday nights or Sundays, but other times could be a goer
most weeks.
