Coffee bars are less noisy but the absence of alcohol might make it a little more awkward.  If it were to be a coffee place, I sometimes sit in BB's in the Arndale for a bit on Tuesdays, thats about the only time I get off work.  Pubs are open in the evenings at least, though I don't know what any of the pubs in Luton are like.  If a date gets sorted il try to attend, where-/whenever it is.

Oh and if you like indie rock music, my mate's band is playing at The Glider in Dunstable tonight :P
