[Lust] Whats in your box? Just for fun.

Hi Karl,

I've got a Linux VM (not a dedicated host) with Bytemark - once it's setup
through the Admin shell you can SSH into it, or if you like you can run X
via VNC (you can't run X locally on the machine though)

You can get dedicated hosts from them, which you boot initially from a
Knoppix image I believe and then you can install whatever distribution you
like.

All in all I'm very happy with it - I use it mainly to handle the website
and e-mail for my band and some friends, and it's been up for over 210 days
now :)

Oh, and got a new (to me) machine up and working at the weekend as well :)

Hi Kev, just wondering is your bytemark machine hosted here:
http://www.bytemark-hosting.co.uk/ ? looks interesting, can you boot from a
diskless client or just ssh to it? looks like fun whatever it is!
