[Malvern] Knoppix & Meetings

Hi

Thanks for a great evening on Wednesday good to meet some new people.
It was falal saying that you could install Debian on the back of Knoppix, I got home and tried it and it worked fine, installed Knoppix and did apt-get, very impressed with that bit.
I am having a look around it for a couple of weeks to see what how who.

The usb installations looks wild, will have to try it, when I get myself a memory stick.

>From our discussions on Wednesday this is what was decided

1 Carry on meeting at Creative Spaces at 5.00pm on the first Tuesday in the month
2 Meet at Geoffs place at 49 Green Lane, Malvern Wells on the third Wednesday at 7.30 for a more hands on meeting. Initially we'll just meet to discuss things and help each other out on projects or problems we currently have. At a later date we could arrange for some workshops on specific subjects.

My thanks to Geoff for offering his room for our use free of charge.

If any one needs transport to Geoffs please shout.
Geoff, would you mind if I put your address on the Malvern LUG website and a map? (if you don't mind could you send me your Post Code)
Its not a problem if not, as I can get interested people to ring or e-mail me.
