I would be inclined to do so selectively,  only backing up the valuable or
non-replaceable  stuff.   In my own case, I have a CDROM of old PASCAL progs
that are never going to alter.  I consult them from time to time.

I have just been over to Evesham and bought two Linux-friendly network cards.
