[Malvern] Konquerer

I have been looking at Konquerer,  and trying it out.

It seems to have many of the attributes  of  "mc"  (which I understand
derives from the old Norton "Midnight Commander.")  They both have two 
panels,  and do the same sort of thing.

It is of course quite easy to "navigate" through a file system using
command line instructions.  I used to have a snazzy little  utility back in 
my  DOS days  called  "DR",  which enabled much the same type of things.

Today, I down-loaded Thunderbird,  but I haven't got it to work yet.
I guess that people who write "non-free"  programmes are looking at SuSE, 
Mandrake,  or Red-Hat  rather than  Debian.
