Really interesting Ian, I wasted my lunch break playing with it:

The resulting HTML is passed direct to espeak with the -m parameter
telling it that it's HTML/SSML/XML so it has a go at parsing the
input. When I pointed it at my blog it read out the stylesheet first,
but it seems to be Ok with the Malvern lug site.
