This basically confirms what Chris wrote. Data transfer will be at
whatever speed both ends are capable of. Remember to be aware of the
marketing use of USB 2.0 to refer to all the available speeds "so that
customers are not confused". USB 2.0 High Speed is the full 480 Mbps link.
