[Malvern] Introduction

Hi all.

After loitering on the mail list for several months, I thought I should 
introduce myself and maybe join in occasionally. I should say, reading 
the list has been both informative and amusing. I'm Stuart, from 
Worcester, but please don't hold that against me! :) I've been a Linux 
user since about 1999, starting with Red Hat, then moving through 
various versions of Mandrake, Coral and Debian to where I am today - Ubuntu.

I currently run a small in-house network of:
1 x Compaq SFF, PII 500 running SmoothWall Express 2.0
1 x Compaq SFF, PII 500 running Mandrake 10 CE, acting as my 
F&P/DNS/DHCP server. It has two 250GB USB drives and two USB printers 
hanging off it. I export NFS and CIFS shares.
1 x Thinkpad P4 laptop running Ubuntu Dapper Drake 6.06, wireless connected.
1 x Dell P3 old desktop in the office which I use for work/additional 
work machine (I'm an IT Consultant).
1 x Sharp Windows XP Home laptop - the 'Significant Other's, but I'm 
trying to 'encourage' her to upgrade!
1 x HP P4 Windows Pro laptop - Work supplied (which dual boots to 
Dapper, but don't tell desktop support!)

I'm keen to participate in LUG meetings and events and hop to be able to 
get to some meets in the coming months, if 'Worcesterites' are 
tolerated!! :D

Think that is about all I have to say right now.
