On my network I have four machines :
A laptop running Gnome.
"tren",  dual boot KDE and Gnome
"gwy"  running KDE.
"roden" running Gnome.

Both the KDE ones are OK.
All the Gnome ones are not !  Coincidence ?

Just as I was getting to like Gnome.

The router has DHCP turned off.
