Please ignore my last mail - I've now worked it out - Debian automatically dumps the result of fetchmail into the mail folder, and imap jsut reads that folder. Simple really, but it jsut seemed too easy... I suppose I was expecting tons of problems like you'd get in Windows. I love Linux =) .waffle
