Well, when we do SCALA titles at Assembly, we use the original SCALA, on the
Amiga. But, the Amiga was not able to be networked easily, and although
A4000's etc are great, they're just not supported. And the IBM-PC version
for Windows is absolutely rubbish. So in one hour, we took an edit machine,
reformatted it, installed Debian over the net (1Gbit internet connection,
wahey!) and installed UAE. Scala was then put on UAE and the machine was
carted upstairs to the gallery, where it was plugged in and SSH/X'd in from
the Studio live. And my god, did it work smoothly! Absolutely great! Do that
with Windows? You'd be lucky!

Oh, and I've just read the after-party report and it turns out they DID have
an Amiga ready to put in, but some Finn spilt beer in it in the pre-show
party. Hence why there was only an hour to set up the machine... Crazy
Finns...

Not just BSOD, but random error messages on the colour units.
