Any sysadmin worth their salt wouldn't let you near their machines with a CD
distro.  They might as well hand you the root password and ask you to be carefull with it,

If you boot a machine from CD (or floppy ) you own (or is that 0wn ?) it .
You can leave lots of presents for when the machine next boots up without your CD.
In effect you are introducing a very weak spot (okay, a BIG hole) in what could be a
well protected system or network.
