Hi there,

I have not completely left this issue behind although after my initial
investigations without a card I decided to wait...

A friend has bought one of these cards and been stung by the support and
since the card is only a tenner I have agreed to purchase it for the
purpose of fixing the driver and getting to to work properly at least on
the Uniprocessor Linux kernel I am using for development at home.

Apparently this problem affects a fair number of people with e receiving
email from others finding posts on NotLUG via google...

An update will follow once I have aquired the card this week and had
chance to get a sacrificial PC configured as I would not trust that
driver with any data. Drop me a line off list if this helps.
