Errrr, that's because the control systems under development for Sizewell B 
were a costly failure (spiffy transputer using design), and they ended up 
using a 'legacy' Westinghouse solution.

The specs for control panels, mandated customised hardware, displays and 
special trackballs etc.  Think like the kind of thing you see in military 
contracts, not solutions using off the box-shifter's shelf components.

The old CEG would take coach loads of Operators and Engineers to GEC in 
Leicester, to discuss their specs.
