As a practising quack (and I'm sure there must be others among you 
bearded hackers), allow me to enlighten you (thus living up to the true 
meaning of the Greek word "doctor" i.e. "know-all who tells you things 
whether you want to hear them or not").

As Linux acolytes we are born-again computer users. Neonates have just 
been born-again more recently.
