Many thanks to Duncan for a good talk last night - I learnt a thing or two 
that will help me in my day-to-day Perl hackery (e.g. putting coderefs into 
@INC) and quite a few other taken-for-granted Perlish features were put 
nicely into perspective. 

As promised, I'll post my quick config hacks (inc storing and retrieving from 
XML) later on today.
