That one is the "Community" version which is a sort of alpha candidate...

Try manually configuring your internet connection (just copy the config 
over from 9.2, the drivers should already be there). Then download the 
various updates to get to something like the "Official" version (10.0.1).

If you get desperate, a certain David has my disks...
