Talks all sound good. Other interesting topics that I'm not an expert in could include;

1)Using ethereal to find out 'whats going on'(tm), & checking your password really isn't in plaintext... 

2) Who am I? Authentication and authorization. From passwd to nis to LDAP and Active Directory.
What it is and how it works. Why we care. I heard at an apple technology talk that they are doing some cool code right now,
apparently under the gpl to make authentication much more seamless on unix. 

I have a slight vested interested in talks like these since I'm trying to figure this stuff out right now :-)
