Dependency Hell !
this is why i always compile my own applications !

whoever compiled Yum for you was running SELinux.
and so he decided to link the binarys againsed it...

and now, wether you like it or not.. have also to run SELinux.

compile your own programs and you can choose what dependencies you want 
your programs to have.

Compiling your own software is the only way to avoid such dependency of 
a dependency of a dependency problems.

which is why Gentoo is the greatest Distro ever !
