[Nottingham] PC backup programme recommendation?

I'd like to backup the linux bit of my hard drive. I've got a spare, smaller 
hard drive I could put my data onto or a cd writer (which I'd prefer to use 
as it doesn't involve me crawling under the desk to get to the eide/power 
cables inside the PCs case).
I've found a programme "Bacula" (great name) in Kpackage, but it seems to be 
for backing things up across a network.
Does anyone recommend me a nice programme to use? (preferably something I 
can get using Kpackage which has a GUI)
