I changed from ADSL to NTL about 4mth ago because the DSLAM at the
local exchange became faulty, BT didn't have any another free circuits
to plug me into, and showed little sign of wanting to install new
equipment speedily or keep the customer informed. After 2wk I got fed
up and rang NTL. Their engineer installed a connection the next day
which has worked faultlessly ever since.

When I rang to change to a lower speed a week before my 3 month
half-price introductory offer expired, this was done immediately and
my next bill showed the correct refund, accurate to the day.
