OK here is a cheap and guaranteed way of doing it

Put it onto a ram disc

If you need to save/shutdown/whatever bung the ramdisc onto a CD (a
rewritable would be good for this)

When no longer needed, destroy the CD with a nice trip to Mr. Gas Oven
Ring

That way the only physical storage device that it touches is an
inexpensive CD that can be destroyed without losing a lot of money.
