OK folks,
Whilst happily typing away in OpenOffice, my machine did a restart for
itself!
Oct 13 15:16:01 muse06 CROND[12174]: (root) CMD (
/usr/share/msec/promisc_check.sh)

Oct 13 15:22:23 muse06 syslogd 1.4.1: restart.

Any ideas as to what might cause this?
This is a first time ever in all my Linux bashings!
Or is this old PC getting a little too old and the hardware is getting
too marginal?
Everything checks out ok after the reboot.
Comments welcomed.
All good fun,
Martin
