Folks,

Here's a recent example for a comparison of views.

Talking with a newsletter publisher last night, the conversation moved 
onto what tools were used and the value of 'good communication' to the 
masses and...

What an eye-opener for Microsoft marketing indoctrination!

The publisher's argument went that Microsoft has been the best thing 
ever for Mankind for giving the tools for a common communications 
platform that lets anyone exchange documents and all manner of other 
media for everyone...

Trying to argue against that when there is also the misconception that 
"Microsoft /is/ the computer and all of the internet" even beat my 
evangelising!


Marketing can indeed be a good or just as easily a dark force to be 
reckoned with... And all that school children see is nothing but 
Microsoft...
